Soul Activism

September 6, 2017 @ 5:45 pm – 7:00 pm

Join Molly Leebove for Soul Activism. Communities that grieve together, grow together. By grieving together, we come to the realization that we are not separate individuals who are  disconnected from one another, as we have been conditioned to believe.

It is 2017. If you are alive + awake right now it is more apparent than ever: we are living in the throes of an unwell society.  The weight of our oppressive, capitalistic, patriarchal, hedonistic, technocratic, isolated society is INTENSE!  We are realizing we are ALL CONNECTED and it is heavy burden to hold alone. Sometimes we need to stop problem solving, organizing, fixing and gather to mourn what it is we cannot solve or fix.

This is an invitation to honor, grieve, feel and release some of our collective and personal pain for the world.  Based on Joanna Macy’s The Work That Reconnects, this experience will be deeply rooted in ancestral wisdom. We cannot heal alone, we cannot hold this pain alone; It is too much for one heart to hold. When we come together as many hearts to be with our collective sorrow- we come deeper into gratitude for life.

When we fully embody our many losses, fears, anger we can fully embody freedom. Feeling our pain is the antidote to capitalism. You are not alone. This is our soul hygiene.

Cost: $15; no one turned away due to lack of funds. Contact: [email protected] for questions + more information
